1 Workweek Down

Wow, I can’t believe I made it through a whole week of morning cardio without caving in and giving up. I am quite proud of myself because I was so incredibly sleepy!!! I still made myself wake up at 5 or 6 and did it!

Of course, I see that it can’t be sustained in the long term. I just don’t have this much time for exercising. I want to accelerate my weight loss without drastically reducing my calories, but if I keep this up, I’ll just end up snapping at some point.

So starting next week, I will go back to my old routine and do my main workout in the morning. The last day I managed to do my strength training was Tuesday. I did a full body in the morning and HIIT in the evening, totaling almost 3 hours for that day. NOT GOOD!!! I really wanted to do strength today, but I can barely keep my eyes open and I want to do it decently instead of half-assing it.

I can do some cardio after the main workout if I still have time, and also in the evening if I have strength and time. Also, I don’t need to be as fresh for that as for a good strength or HIIT training. Maybe my weight loss will slow down, but I hope I can be consistent with this strategy.

I’ll also need to prioritize my meals. I keep doing things while eating, and it is a slippery slope. I definitely do not want to slip back into old habits.

If this wasn’t enough, I’m also lacking majorly in another aspect of my physical well-being, but I don’t see even a possibility of that changing. I barely have time for basics at this point.

My plan for the weekend is to sleep my heart out and check some to-dos off my list. Bring it on! 🙂
